Unfinished (2011) is the 3rd album by pop singer Jordan Knight. This is the deluxe edition’s review which features 1 bonus song Never Again.
Knight is best known as the lead singer of the boyband NKOTB. Here, his vocal prowess is stronger than ever. Majority of the 12 tracks are superb but the tone of the entire CD is generic. With break-ups being the center-point of discussions throughout.
Still, Unfinished has many catchy songs, and most of them are worth binge-listening to on repeat. The best-written track is Like A Wave. The paramount overall composition is Stingy. Other awesome ones include Let’s Go Higher, Unfinished, One More Night, Inside, Rockstar and Up N’ Down. Kiss It Away, O-Face, Believe and Never Again are mediocre.
In the end, Unfinished might not be better than NKOTB’s The Block (2008). But it still qualifies as one of my fav pop albums of all time. Knight proves he is not unfinished as an artist.
